The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona charged 330 individuals with immigration-related criminal conduct during enforcement operations conducted from June 13 through June 18, 2026. These actions are part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative by the Department of Justice aimed at addressing illegal immigration and related criminal activities.
The charges included 153 cases for illegal re-entry into the United States and 148 cases for illegal entry. Additionally, 25 cases were filed against 29 individuals accused of smuggling illegal aliens into and within the District of Arizona. Federal law enforcement partners, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE-ERO, ICE-HSI), U.S. Border Patrol, DEA, FBI, USMS, and ATF, referred or supported these cases.
Operation Take Back America leverages Department of Justice resources to repel illegal immigration, eliminate cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protect communities from violent crime. This initiative integrates efforts from the Department’s Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETFs) and Project Safe Neighborhood (PSN). All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
