Bazzini, LLC, a co-manufacturer for SkinnyDipped®, has announced a voluntary recall of specific lots of SkinnyDipped® Dark Chocolate Coconut Almond Bites due to the potential presence of undeclared peanuts. This poses a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction risk for individuals with peanut allergies.
The affected products were distributed nationwide through retailers and as complimentary samples. Recalled items include various package sizes of Dark Chocolate Coconut Almond Bites, such as 10ct/3.17oz, 6ct/3.17oz, 50ct/.53oz, 24ct/.53oz, 20ct/.53oz (Easter), 4ct/3.17oz, and a 32ct shipper. Consumers should check the lot codes and "Best By" dates on their packages, which range from December 20, 2026, to December 29, 2026, to identify affected products.
The recall was initiated after a consumer reported allegedly finding peanut butter-containing products in SkinnyDipped® Dark Chocolate Coconut Almond Bites individual wrappers. Peanuts and peanut butter are not intended ingredients in these almond bites. No allergic reactions or illnesses have been reported to date.
