Arlington County Parks & Recreation has announced a comprehensive lineup of fall programs and events, inviting residents of all ages to engage in learning, play, and exploration. Registration is now open for a wide array of activities, from fitness and arts to nature and community gatherings.

The "ENJOY Arlington" catalog features hundreds of classes, including pilates, soccer, cooking, and nature studies. For younger residents, Fall Break Camps are available on "no school" days, such as September 4, September 21, and October 12, with registration closing two days prior to each camp's start. The Creative Preschoolers Program, designed for ages 3-5, still has available slots for the 2026-27 academic year, focusing on cooperation, discovery, and play skills.

Seniors can look forward to a variety of 55+ programs and events throughout the fall, including a First Friday Social on September 4, a Fall Yard Sale Fundraiser on September 5, and a "Viva la Música!" event on September 18. Additionally, the Native Plant Sale offers pre-order opportunities until September 19, with pickup on September 26 at Fort C.F. Smith. A Free Tree Giveaway registration begins September 8 at 12 p.m., aiming to expand Arlington's urban tree canopy.

Sports enthusiasts can register for the 2026 Arlington Mixed Doubles Pickleball Tournament by September 14, taking place on September 26 at the Walter Reed Dedicated Pickleball Courts. The annual Festival Latinoamericano is scheduled for October 3 at the Arlington Mill Community Center, celebrating Latin American cultures with food, music, and community. Families can also register for Family Art Labs, starting October 3 at Arlington Mill Community Center, and middle and high school students can obtain a free Teen Pass for access to drop-in sports and gym facilities.

Year-round "Learn To Swim" classes are available at the Long Bridge Aquatic and Fitness Center for all ages and abilities.
