The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported an increase in job openings to 7.6 million in April, according to its latest Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) news release.
This rise in openings comes as both hires and total separations saw decreases during the same month. Hires fell to 5.1 million, while total separations dropped to 5.0 million.
