U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced the arrest of several criminal illegal aliens yesterday, who were convicted of serious offenses including child abuse, robbery, and drug trafficking.
Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin said, "Yesterday, ICE arrested child abusers, robbers, drug traffickers, and other dangerous illegal aliens from our communities." He added that under President Trump’s leadership, ICE is fulfilling the mandate to arrest and deport illegal aliens to enhance America's safety.
Among those arrested were Benjamin Tomas-Reynoso from Guatemala, convicted of child abuse in Tennessee; Raidel Gato from Cuba, convicted of robbery in Florida; Martin Guerrero-Guerrero from Mexico, convicted of drug trafficking in New Mexico; Ediberto Lopez-Lopez from Mexico, convicted of aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer in Oklahoma; and Jesus Chavira-Ramirez from Mexico, convicted of arson in Ohio.
Secretary Mullin emphasized, "If you are here illegally, we will hunt you down and send you back to where you came from."
