Dartmouth College announced that the Lewinstein Athletic Center and all its facilities are set to reopen on September 1 at 5 a.m. The center had been closed throughout the summer to facilitate work related to the college's ongoing energy transition project.
The closure was part of a broader initiative by Dartmouth to upgrade its infrastructure. During this period, a temporary gym was made available in Berry, which will cease operations on August 27, ahead of the main athletic center's return.
This reopening marks a significant return to normal operations for student and faculty athletics, providing access to the full range of facilities after the necessary upgrades.
