The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has deported a significant number of criminal illegal aliens in the past week, including individuals convicted of serious offenses such as homicide, rape, drug trafficking, and domestic violence.
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin said, "In the last week alone, ICE has deported dangerous criminals from our country, including murderers, rapists, drug traffickers, and violent assailants." He added that the Trump Administration prioritizes the safety of the American people by removing criminal illegal aliens from communities.
Among those deported were Fredy Alexander Lopez Lara from Honduras, convicted of homicide, and Christian Dulue Flah from Liberia, whose criminal history includes rape. Enrique Velasco-Sanchez from Mexico was deported following convictions for attempted sexual battery, while Herlindo Urizar-Reyes from Guatemala was removed for accessory after the fact to aggravated assault. Renqin Chen from China was also deported.
DHS reiterated its commitment to defending the homeland, protecting the American people, and enforcing the law.
