Media Monitor: Washington Post Reports Great American State Fair Closure Due to Extreme Heat

The Washington Post is reporting that extreme heat has led to the temporary closure of the Great American State Fair and caused other disruptions. It said temperatures are forecast to exceed 100 degrees throughout the July Fourth weekend. The D.C. fire department told The Washington Post that it treated individuals for heat-related illnesses at the fair on Friday.
