OCC Opens Registration for Fall 2026 Community Bank Workshops

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has opened registration for its fall 2026 in-person workshops, designed for board directors and senior management of OCC-supervised community banks. These workshops represent the final in-person offerings planned for the year.

A new Asset Management workshop is among the offerings, providing a comprehensive overview of asset management activities, key responsibilities, and effective oversight and risk management practices. The OCC examiner-led sessions aim to deliver practical training and guidance on daily challenges faced by bank leadership, reinforcing the agency's commitment to supporting community banks.

Workshops cover topics such as Risk Governance, Capital Markets, Compliance Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, and Building Blocks. They are scheduled across various U.S. cities, including Longview, Texas; Cleveland, Ohio; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Denver, Colorado; New York, New York; and Indianapolis, Indiana, from mid-September through early November.
