The Social Security Administration (SSA) has detailed a series of actuarial studies examining various facets of the Social Security program, covering topics from disability insurance to mortality rates and long-range financial projections.
Among the listed studies, "A Stochastic Model of the Long-Range Financial Status of the OASDI Program" (Study 128) was published in March 2024. Looking ahead, "Social Security Disability Insurance Program Disabled-Worker Experience" (Study 130) is slated for July 2026, authored by Nettie J. Barrick-Funk and Craig A. Feinstein.
The SSA notes that these studies are historical documents, generally not subject to revision, and that PDF files may not be accessible to people with visual impairments. Inquiries regarding specific studies can be directed to Actuary.Inquiries@ssa.gov.
