Breaking Defense is reporting that its weekly video news show, The Weekly Break Out, focused this week on the Air and Space Forces Association's Air, Space and Cyber conference held in National Harbor, Maryland. It said Deputy Editor Lee Ferran and Air Warfare Reporter Michael Marrow outlined some of the biggest and most surprising news from the conference.
Breaking Defense said Multimedia Director Daniel Woolfolk then led viewers through a few systems and displays on the show floor.
The outlet said the episode is underwritten by Leonardo DRS, which presented a modular, open-architecture Maritime Mission Equipment Package for unmanned surface vessels. It said the package integrates sensors, communications and kinetic or non-kinetic effectors to detect, track and defeat evolving unmanned aerial system threats from platform-agnostic USVs.
