The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and United Against Fentanyl are urging the public to participate in "Walk For Lives" events this Saturday, July 11, 2026, to honor those lost to fentanyl and raise awareness about the deadly drug.

These walks, led by families affected by fentanyl, aim to educate communities and foster partnerships to combat its spread. According to the CDC, drug overdoses are the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18-44, with many victims unknowingly ingesting fentanyl mixed into other drugs by traffickers.

The initiative seeks to protect future generations by building a #FentanylFreeAmerica.
