Clark joined over 4,000 Massachusetts nurses and home care clinicians on the picket line, advocating for fair pay and dignity for healthcare workers. She affirmed her dedication to reforming the healthcare system and protecting these essential professionals.
Addressing immigration concerns, Clark condemned recent incidents involving ICE agents, including the deaths of Renee Good, Alex Pretti, Lorenzo Araujo, and Joan Guerrero. She visited the Burlington ICE facility, describing it as "ill-equipped to be a detention center" and demanding an end to what she called ICE's "abuse of power" and "reign of terror." House Democrats also introduced a discharge petition for the American Dream and Promise Act, aiming to provide a pathway to permanent legal status for Dreamers and Temporary Protected Status (TPS) holders.
Regarding foreign policy, Clark criticized President Donald Trump's handling of the situation in Iran, noting the collapse of a ceasefire deal, 18 American deaths, and over 600 wounded. She led House Democrats in passing another War Powers Resolution to end the conflict, urging the Senate to follow suit, stating the war "has been a total failure."
Finally, Clark toured the North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters (NASRCC)'s Boston Training Center, discussing shared goals to create opportunities for workers in Massachusetts and restore the "American Dream" for all.
