The White House is reporting that President Donald J Trump convened the first-ever televised Cabinet meeting at Camp David on July 31, showcasing the administration's America First agenda.
It said July 28 marked a significant diplomatic day, with President Trump hosting both Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House. Discussions with Netanyahu focused on Middle East security and regional stability. The White House said talks with Zelenskyy addressed Patriot interceptor missile licenses and the path toward ending the Russia-Ukraine war, which Zelenskyy described as a “good meeting.”
The White House reported that the murder rate reached its lowest level in 126 years, with homicides down 18%, carjackings down 47%, motor vehicle thefts down 20%, and robberies down 17%.
It said the White House Government Transparency Task Force released declassified intelligence on July 30, confirming that China and its proxies acquired as many as 220 million Americans’ voter registration records. The White House noted this included non-public data first flagged by the Intelligence Community in 2022. It said adversaries holding this data could alter voter rolls, trigger Election Day chaos, or force the mass use of provisional ballots. Five intelligence agencies coordinated with the White House on the release, which emphasized the urgency of passing the SAVE America Act to require proof of citizenship for voter registration nationwide.
The White House also reported that Vice President Vance announced the Fraud Task Force identified $230 billion in fraud and stopped $56 billion of it. It said TrumpRx saved Americans $700 million on prescription drugs, and real wages increased by $1,000 for lower-income workers. Trump Accounts have been activated for more than seven million children. The White House highlighted new investment commitments, including $600 million from Philip Morris International and $850 million from Electra, and noted President Trump visited a General Motors plant in Michigan on July 30. It said President Trump signed a directive delegating Defense Production Act authority over critical minerals.
Additionally, the White House reported First Lady Melania Trump facilitated her fifth Ukraine-Russia family reunification. It said the administration continued its push to confirm Todd Blanche as Attorney General. The White House also noted that Indiana Senate President Rodric Bray announced he would not seek re-election after President Trump's criticism on Truth Social.
