Additionally, Arlington County Government offices and services will operate on modified schedules for the holiday on Friday, July 3, 2026. Residents are reminded that fireworks cause approximately 20,000 fires annually, and extreme heat is expected to continue through the weekend, with extended sprayground hours available on July 3.
