Fairfax County Highlights Domestic Violence Resources as Cases Remain Severe

Fairfax County is reminding residents that domestic violence resources are available, including a 24-hour hotline at 703-360-7273.

Cases of domestic violence continue to be severe, including instances involving strangulation, the county said. Other resources include counseling assistance, housing and economic support, and safety planning.

The county's Police Department also recognizes Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Other items in the county's daily update include Clemyjontri Park being reimagined for a new generation of visitors and detectives investigating a fatal pedestrian crash in Chantilly.
