The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) recently deported multiple dangerous illegal alien gang members with extensive criminal histories, including murder, sexual assault, burglary, and driving under the influence.
A DHS Spokesperson said, "Every day, the brave men and women of ICE are arresting and removing dangerous criminal illegal aliens, including gang members, from our country." The spokesperson added that last week alone, ICE deported individuals convicted of murder, sexual assault, burglary, and drunk driving, emphasizing that under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, the safety of the American people is paramount.
Among those deported were Josue Isaias Cruz Ruiz, an 18th Street gang member from El Salvador convicted of homicide, and Ermis Francisco Orellana Rivas, an MS-13 gang member also from El Salvador, with convictions for sexual assault and burglary. Pablo Othoniel Lopez Sarricolea, a Paisas gang member from Mexico, was deported for crimes including driving under the influence and illegal re-entry. Erick Palacios Martinez, a La Mirada Locos gang member from El Salvador, had convictions for robbery and weapon possession.
The DHS spokesperson highlighted that crime rates have reached record lows, with the murder rate projected to fall to a 126-year low.
