Fairfax County Police have arrested Enda Browne, 43, of Herndon, in connection with a life-threatening pedestrian hit-and-run crash that occurred in Reston on November 16, 2014.

Detectives from the Crash Reconstruction Unit determined Browne was driving a 2014 Ford Fusion southbound on Reston Parkway when he struck an adult female pedestrian crossing at Spectrum Center Drive. The victim initially sustained life-threatening injuries, later downgraded, while Browne fled the scene.

Browne was located, arrested, and charged with Felony Hit and Run, then released. He failed to appear in court on June 8, 2015, having fled the country. On June 26, 2026, the United States Marshals Service apprehended Browne at Dulles Airport, and he is now held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
