Breaking Defense is reporting that Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll submitted his resignation Monday, after serving in his position for less than two years. It said Driscoll, the 26th secretary of the Army, had clashed with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Breaking Defense said an Army source indicated Driscoll tendered his resignation after speaking with President Donald Trump about the state of the Army.
