The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced yesterday the deportation of several "worst of the worst" criminal illegal aliens with extensive criminal histories, including child sex crimes, kidnapping, and burglary.
Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis highlighted the removal of "pedophiles, kidnappers, burglars, and gang members," stating, "Every single day, we remove criminals from American communities." Bis also noted that crime rates have reached "record lows," with the murder rate projected to fall to a 126-year low.
Among those deported were Moises Gutierez, a Paisas gang member from Mexico with convictions for driving under the influence and illegal re-entry, and arrests for child sex offenses. Also removed were Jorge Barrientos-Amaya from Costa Rica, convicted of cocaine smuggling, and Pedro Gomez-Diaz from Mexico, with convictions for aggravated assault, robbery, and kidnapping. Omar Montes-Hernandez, also from Mexico, was deported for burglary, larceny, and illegal re-entry.
