The Washington Post is reporting that Rahmanullah Lakanwal, the man accused of shooting two National Guard troops last fall and killing one, has been admitted to George Washington University Hospital. It said a federal judge stated at an emergency court hearing that Lakanwal is in “dire circumstances” after refusing food and water.
