On Wednesday, August 26, Governor Sanders delivered remarks at the "My Natural State Story" announcement held at the North Little Rock 6 Academy of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences. She was joined by Arkansas Secretary of Education Jacob Oliva, Principal Larissa Harrison, and Arkansas Secretary of Parks, Heritage & Tourism Shea Lewis, observing student activities like the Stream Team and interacting with a garden club.
The following day, Thursday, August 27, Governor Sanders presented grants for the Rural Health Transformation Program at the State Capitol Building. Key officials present included Rural Health Transformation Program Director Brad Nye, Arkansas Secretary of Health Renee Mallory, and representatives from Community Health Centers of Arkansas, Inc., the Arkansas Ambulance Association, and Jefferson Hospital Association.
The week concluded with events celebrating the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) football team. On Friday, August 28, Governor Sanders and First Gentleman Bryan Sanders hosted an "Undefeated Party" at the Arkansas Governor's Mansion, attended by UAPB Head Football Coach Alonzo Hampton and Chancellor Anthony Graham. The Governor also attended the UAPB versus Morehouse College football game at War Memorial Stadium on Saturday, August 29, alongside U.S. Representative French Hill.
