U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) recently apprehended several "worst of the worst" criminal illegal aliens across the country, including individuals convicted of murder, sexual exploitation of a minor, and drug trafficking. This action aligns with the agency's focus, as nearly 70% of ICE arrests involve illegal aliens charged or convicted of a crime in the U.S.
Among those arrested were Khamkong Chittamath from Laos, convicted of second-degree murder in Connecticut, and Blanca Marisela Mendez-Ramirez from Guatemala, convicted of first-degree involuntary manslaughter in Missouri. Fahed Ahmad Husein from Syria was arrested for second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor in North Carolina, while Rogelio Perez-Chavez from Guatemala was apprehended for aggravated sexual battery in Virginia. Rogelio Garcia-Alvarado from Mexico was arrested in Georgia for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamines.
Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said, "Yesterday, ICE law enforcement arrested murderers, pedophiles, drug traffickers, and other criminal illegal aliens. These monsters should have never been in our country to begin with." Bis added that under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, illegal aliens are no longer welcome, stating, "If you are here illegally, our message is clear: LEAVE NOW OR FACE THE CONSEQUENCES."
