John Rickenbach Jr., a 44-year-old resident of Reading, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to 120 months in federal prison, followed by four years of supervised release, for his convictions related to fentanyl and methamphetamine trafficking. The sentence was imposed by United States District Judge Stephanie L. Haines in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
According to information presented in court, Rickenbach conspired to distribute and possessed with intent to distribute 40 grams or more of a fentanyl mixture and 50 grams or more of a methamphetamine mixture between June and August 2024 in the Western District of Pennsylvania. He was also found to have distributed and possessed with intent to distribute similar quantities of these substances in August 2024.
United States Attorney Troy Rivetti commended the Pennsylvania State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Safe Streets Task Force for their investigation. Assistant United States Attorney Maureen Sheehan-Balchon prosecuted the case on behalf of the government.
