The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) have jointly extended the compliance date for amendments to Form PF from October 1, 2026, to July 1, 2027, as announced today with the publication of a Joint Final Rule.

Form PF is a confidential reporting document utilized by certain SEC-registered investment advisers to private funds. This includes entities also registered with the CFTC as commodity pool operators (CPOs) or commodity trading advisers (CTAs). The original Form PF amendments were adopted on February 8, 2024.

This extension provides additional time for affected entities to comply with the updated reporting requirements.
