Mayor Bass to Open Banc of California Office, Join Magic Johnson at Procurement Summit

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass will open Banc of California's brand-new Downtown L.A. office space and join Earvin "Magic" Johnson at her third annual Sports and Entertainment Procurement Summit on Monday, September 28.

At 9:30 AM, Bass and Banc of California Chairman and CEO Jared Wolff will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the bank's new office, which the mayor's office said represents another major boost for the ongoing Downtown revitalization effort being led by Bass. At 11:30 AM, Bass will take part in a fireside chat alongside L.A. legend Johnson at the Summit, which provides local businesses with support and resources to tap into opportunities for upcoming major events coming to Los Angeles. In 2025, 1,600 local businesses and entrepreneurs attended the Summit.
