Among the signed legislation, S-4217/A-5194 and S-4220/A-5192 empower the NJ Infrastructure Bank to provide loans for Community Hazard Assistance Mitigation and environmental infrastructure projects for FY2027. Additionally, A-4961/S-4308 authorizes the bank to expend sums for transportation infrastructure loans and makes an appropriation.
Other notable bills include S-4221/A-5193, which appropriates funds to the DEP for environmental infrastructure, and ACS for A-2401/SCS for S-312, establishing measures to improve safety at scrap metal businesses. A-4678/S-3614 clarifies payments for non-resident students enrolled in renaissance school projects.
Furthermore, ACS for A-4852/SCS for S-4194 and 4210 revises specific requirements for prescribing Schedule II controlled dangerous substances via telemedicine and telehealth without an in-person examination or review.
