LMSI LLC/Kofinas Olive Oil has initiated a voluntary recall of its Garlic Mediterranean infused extra virgin olive oil due to the use of a garlic essential oil not approved for culinary purposes. The affected product was sold in 500 ml, 250 ml, and 100 ml glass bottles.
The recalled olive oil was available for purchase from August 31, 2025, to August 27, 2026. Sales occurred at the Montgomery Store & Infusion Kitchen and Findlay Market, both located in Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as through online orders via kofinasoliveoil.com.
No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recalled products to date. However, individuals who experience signs or symptoms of an allergic reaction or food-borne illness after consuming the oil should seek immediate medical attention.
