The U.S. Census Bureau is hosting two free webinars this week to help the public and businesses effectively utilize its extensive data for various applications.
The first session, "Using Visualization Tools," on Tuesday, July 28, at 2:00 p.m. ET, will demonstrate how to explore data through interactive charts, maps, and geographic profiles on data.census.gov. Attendees will learn to create various visualizations and refine views across locations and industries.
Following this, "Data That Means Business" on Thursday, July 29, at 2:00 p.m. ET, will provide hands-on training to translate datasets into actionable insights for funding, expansion, and strategic decision-making. Speakers Joli Golden and Monica Dukes will lead this session.
These webinars are part of the Census Academy's initiative to offer practical guidance on using Census Bureau data for business plans, grant proposals, and urban development. An upcoming webinar on August 6 will focus on the FIFA World Cup workforce impact, and organizations can request free workshops by emailing census.askdata@census.gov.
