Google introduced its latest artificial intelligence models, Gemini Omni and the Gemini 3.5 family, at Google I/O 2026, promising significant advancements in creative generation and intelligent agent capabilities.

Gemini Omni is a new model designed to create anything from various inputs, starting with video. It can combine images, audio, video, and text to generate high-quality videos grounded in Gemini's real-world knowledge, allowing users to edit videos conversationally while maintaining character consistency and scene physics.

The Gemini 3.5 family, including the newly released 3.5 Flash, represents a major leap in building more capable, intelligent agents. Flash delivers frontier performance for agents and coding, excelling at complex, long-horizon tasks that offer real-world utility.

Gemini 3.5 Flash, powered by Antigravity, can execute multi-step workflows for tasks like renaming and categorizing assets, create interactive web UIs and graphics, and generate multiple creative concepts in parallel. It also facilitates faster iterative coding through AI Studio.

This model is now the default for the Gemini app and AI Mode in Search globally, powering new features such as information agents for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers this summer. It will also enable custom generative UIs and experiences in Search for all users this summer, including dashboards and mini-apps.

Additionally, Gemini Spark, a personal AI agent running on Gemini 3.5 with the Antigravity harness, is available to Google AI Ultra subscribers in the U.S., integrating deeply with Workspace tools. Gemini Omni is rolling out to Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers globally via the Gemini app and Google Flow, and is also available at no cost on YouTube Shorts and YouTube Create App, with developer and enterprise APIs coming soon.
