U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) recently apprehended several individuals across the country, including those convicted of serious offenses such as sexual assault, rape, kidnapping, and child pornography distribution. The arrests were announced by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin said, "Just yesterday, ICE arrested pedophiles, rapists, kidnappers, robbers, and other dangerous criminals who never should’ve been here in the first place." He added that "Thanks to President Trump’s leadership, the men and women of ICE have been unleashed to target illegal aliens who threaten our communities."
Among those arrested were Manuel Victores-Alzola, convicted for engaging in a sexual act with a familial child in Miami, Florida, and Jeffry Rivera-Vargas, convicted for kidnapping and rape in Franklin County, Ohio. Other arrests included Bladimir Morel for robbery and narcotics distribution in Pennsylvania, Ronald Alberto Aguilar-Contreras for first-degree assault in Baltimore, Maryland, and Diego Miguel-Juan for distribution of child pornography in Iowa.
