Penguin Random House is reporting that it is offering a slate of discounted ebooks for a limited time through its latest reader newsletter. It said the promotion features a dozen titles priced at $2.99 each, marked down from regular prices ranging from $4.99 to $13.99.
The publisher said the discounted titles include "Las Madres" by Esmeralda Santiago, "Brotherless Night" by V. V. Ganeshananthan, "The Animators" by Kayla Rae Whitaker, "Ghost Forest" by Pik-Shuen Fung, "Love After Love" by Ingrid Persaud, "The Heart of Winter" by Jonathan Evison, "Transcendent Kingdom" by Yaa Gyasi, "Small Joys" by Elvin James Mensah, "How Much of These Hills Is Gold" by C Pam Zhang, "We Loved to Run" by Stephanie Reents, "The Skin and Its Girl" by Sarah Cypher and "Rules for Visiting" by Jessica Francis Kane.
Penguin Random House said the newsletter pairs each title with praise from other authors. It said Sandra Cisneros called "Las Madres" an inspiring story of women and their friendships, while Celeste Ng described "Brotherless Night" as an achingly moving portrait of a world full of turmoil.
The publisher said the discounted pricing is available for a limited time and is subject to change without notice. It advised readers to check the price at their preferred retailer before purchasing.
