NIH Autoimmune Disease Research Office to Host Quarterly Update Session on October 29

Dr. Victoria (Vicki) Shanmugam, director of the NIH Office of Autoimmune Disease Research in the Office of Research on Women's Health (OADR-ORWH), will host the quarterly "Updates on OADR-ORWH" session on Thursday, October 29, from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. EST.

Registration is open for the webinar, and attendees are reminded to add the event to their calendars after completing their Teams registration, as it is not added automatically.

The mission of OADR-ORWH is to support high priority autoimmune disease research, identify emerging areas of innovation, and foster collaboration across NIH institutes, centers, and offices, according to the office.

The inaugural NIH-Wide Strategic Plan for Autoimmune Disease Research, FY26-30, and related materials are available on the office's webpage. The quarterly session is hosted to provide insights on office activities, engage community members, and highlight how OADR-ORWH is achieving its mission at NIH.
