The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) today announced the launch of a new digitally authenticated Tax Compliance Report, now accessible through the IRS Individual Online Account. This report allows taxpayers to securely obtain and download necessary tax compliance information when applying for jobs, loans, government benefits, or other services.
Each report includes an IRS-issued digital certificate, enabling financial institutions, government agencies, and other organizations to verify its authenticity. This built-in verification helps protect taxpayer information and maintains the integrity of the document.
IRS Chief Executive Officer Frank J. Bisignano said, "By providing a secure, digitally authenticated report, the IRS is making it easier for taxpayers to access and share important information while protecting privacy and data integrity." The report offers on-demand access and standardized authentication features.
