Governor Jim Pillen recently hosted U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Scott Turner in Nebraska to discuss initiatives aimed at increasing housing affordability and fostering economic growth.
The visit highlighted ongoing efforts to develop workforce housing and drive significant community and economic revival. These initiatives are being implemented in both rural and urban areas across the state, primarily through the Opportunity Zones Initiative.
