U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested numerous criminal illegal aliens convicted of serious offenses across the country over the weekend, including individuals charged with murder, sexual assault, and drug trafficking.

Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said that while Americans enjoyed the FIFA World Cup Finals, "the brave men and women of ICE law enforcement worked around the clock to arrest the worst of the worst, including murderers, rapists, violent assailants, drug traffickers, and other public safety threats." She added that under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, ICE is specifically targeting these dangerous individuals.

Among those apprehended were Hiep Ngoc Nguyen and Truc Ngoc Tran, both from Vietnam, convicted for murder in Oklahoma and California, respectively. Eduardo Jose Lacayo-Alvarado from Nicaragua was arrested for rape and sodomy in California, while Juan Baldemar Figueroa-Lopez from Guatemala was apprehended for child sexual assault in Colorado.

Other arrests included individuals from Brazil, El Salvador, Mexico, Cuba, Pakistan, and India, facing charges ranging from aggravated assault and drug distribution to money laundering and enticing a minor. These operations underscore ICE's commitment to removing dangerous individuals from communities nationwide.
