FRANCE 24 is reporting that Tehran has threatened to block access to the Strait of Hormuz if the United States continues its blockade of Iranian ports. The outlet said the threat casts doubt on recent progress toward a ceasefire. FRANCE 24 also noted that U.S. President Donald Trump had previously suggested a peace deal with Iran could be reached soon after Tehran reopened the Strait of Hormuz.
