TIME Health is reporting that people who took Eli Lilly's recently approved weight-loss pill, Foundayo, lowered their risk of developing Type 2 diabetes by 57%. It said the company also predicted the pill would reduce heart disease risk by 18% over 10 years.
TIME Health also reported that staff raced rising floodwater to evacuate 36 nursing-home residents in Minnesota. It said KFF Health News shows why 100 facilities nationwide may face similar danger.
Separately, TIME Health said it is offering readers a different approach to gratitude practice: keeping a reverse bucket list instead of a traditional journal. It said the method involves jotting down a few quick bullet points, without full reflective sentences, to jog memories about good things that have already happened. It cited author and podcaster Simon Sinek, who calls rereading his own reverse bucket list "joy scrolling."
TIME Health also said it is inviting readers to submit health and wellness questions to its health team for weekly responses in the newsletter.
