The U.S. Census Bureau has launched a new interactive visualization tool for the Annual Integrated Economic Survey (AIES), offering streamlined access to comprehensive business revenue, payroll, and employment data. This development aims to simplify economic analysis for policymakers, business leaders, and the public.
The AIES represents the Census Bureau’s most extensive source of annual national and subnational economic data, consolidating seven previously administered business surveys and introducing new levels of geographic detail. Lisa Donaldson, assistant director for economic programs at the Census Bureau, said, "the AIES provides insights that will inform decisions across the public and private sectors."
This new tool makes it easier to explore detailed economic data, enabling users to track online trends, assess local market conditions, and gauge the economic health of various industries more effectively.
