The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) today announced the launch of a new digitally authenticated Tax Compliance Report, now accessible through the IRS Individual Online Account. This new feature allows taxpayers to securely obtain and download their tax compliance information on demand.
The report is designed for use when applying for jobs, loans, government benefits, or other services requiring proof of tax compliance. Organizations receiving the report can verify its authenticity using a built-in digital certificate, which also safeguards taxpayer information and maintains report integrity.
IRS Chief Executive Officer Frank J. Bisignano said, "By providing a secure, digitally authenticated report, the IRS is making it easier for taxpayers to access and share important information while protecting privacy and data integrity."
