Amazon has announced new summer savings for Prime members, just in time for Fourth of July celebrations, featuring significant discounts on fuel and essential barbecue groceries. For those hitting the road, Prime, Prime Access, and Prime for Young Adults members can save $0.50 per gallon on one fuel purchase between July 2 and 5. This special discount is available at over 7,500 bp, Amoco, and participating ampm and Thorntons locations nationwide, building on the everyday $0.10 per gallon savings Prime members already receive.
Grocery shoppers can also find substantial savings on Fourth of July essentials. Prime members can access grilling meats under $10, summer produce under $4, and party-size snacks and frozen treats starting at $2. Additionally, from July 1 to 7, Prime members at Whole Foods Market can enjoy 50% off ice cream and frozen treats. Eligible members in over 2,300 cities and towns can also benefit from free Same-Day Delivery on grocery orders over $25.
Prime Access members, who receive a discounted membership, will benefit from an exclusive $5 monthly grocery credit from July through September. This credit, automatically applied at checkout on eligible orders of $25 or more, offers up to $15 in total grocery savings over the summer. This program supports households, including those using SNAP payment methods and Summer EBT, in accessing essential grocery items with fast, free delivery.
Anyone can join Prime for $14.99 per month or $139 per year, with a free 30-day trial available. Discounted memberships are also offered for higher-education students, young adults, and government assistance recipients through Prime for Young Adults and Prime Access.
