Fairfax County Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred yesterday evening in Fairfax Station, resulting in the death of a Fredericksburg woman. The incident took place on July 23 at 7:13 p.m. at the intersection of Ox Road and Chapel Road.
Detectives from the Crash Reconstruction Unit (CRU) determined that Jennifer Hollingsworth, 39, of Fredericksburg, was riding a 2025 Suzuki GSXR 750 motorcycle northbound on Ox Road when she collided with a 2021 Buick Enclave. The Buick was making a left turn from southbound Ox Road onto eastbound Chapel Road. Hollingsworth was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Buick was uninjured and remained on site. Preliminary findings suggest alcohol was not a factor for the Buick driver, but speed and alcohol for the motorcycle rider are still under investigation. Victim specialists are providing support to the families involved.
