Rocket Lab is set to launch its 'The Grain Goddess Provides' mission, deploying a QPS-SAR satellite for constellation operator iQPS. This mission, utilizing Rocket Lab's Electron rocket, aims to expand iQPS' Earth-imaging constellation, which provides near-real-time synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery from low Earth orbit.

The launch is scheduled for Thursday, August 6, with liftoff times including 9:00 pm NZST and 6:00 pm JST. This marks Rocket Lab's eighth dedicated Electron mission for iQPS, solidifying its role as the primary launch provider for the Japanese company since 2023.

'The Grain Goddess Provides' will be Rocket Lab's 92nd overall Electron launch. iQPS has booked an additional 10 Electron launches to complete its SAR constellation before 2030, highlighting the ongoing partnership and future expansion plans.
