Department of War Releases Third Batch of Declassified UAP Files

The U.S. Department of War announced today the third release of declassified Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) files, continuing the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE) initiative.

These historical documents are accessible on WAR.GOV/UFO, a dedicated online portal that has garnered over 1.7 billion hits worldwide since its launch on May 8, 2026. The Department plans to issue additional files on a rolling basis.

Sean Parnell, Assistant to the Secretary of War for Public Affairs and Chief Pentagon Spokesman, said, "Today, the Department of War is publishing the third release of declassified and historical Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) files as part of the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE). The collection continues to be housed on WAR.GOV/UFO, and the Department will release additional files on a rolling basis." He also highlighted the "unprecedented levels of interest" and the Trump administration's "historic transparency effort." The Department of War and its agency partners are actively preparing the next set of UAP files for release.
