A St. Joseph, Missouri, man has been charged in an alleged conspiracy to attack and kill government officials and others attending the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Freedom 250 event at the White House on June 14, 2026. Jordan Rincker, 28, was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit murder and made his initial federal court appearance on June 22, 2026, following his arrest the previous day.
U.S. Attorney R. Matthew Price for the Western District of Missouri emphasized the collaborative effort, saying, "This case demonstrates the effectiveness of our law enforcement partners and U.S. Attorneys working together to prevent violence before it can take place." Price added, "We will continue taking decisive action against those who seek to endanger national security and threaten the safety of Americans."
According to the criminal complaint, Rincker allegedly received $1,200 from co-conspirator Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez, 31, to distribute to others involved in the plot. Rincker reportedly sent $100 via CashApp to Bryan Omar Roa, 24, for gas to travel from California to Washington, D.C., to pick up a "drone operator" for the attack. Alvarez and Roa were previously arrested and charged last week in connection with the same plot.
Rincker also allegedly communicated with co-conspirators on an encrypted messaging application and provided a 12-gauge pump action shotgun to Alvarez during a meeting in Omaha. In return, Alvarez reportedly gave Rincker a ballistic plate, face shield, 3D printers, night vision goggles, and other equipment, including items for making drones. A search of Rincker’s home and storage unit uncovered multiple firearms, 3D printed gun parts, ballistic plates, night vision goggles, and thermal imaging scopes. The charges are accusations, and guilt must be determined by a federal trial jury.
