Governor Jim Pillen has pledged his support for offering healthier meal options to students across Nebraska. This commitment aligns with his strong advocacy for reforming America's diet and food choices.

Pillen made the announcement at the U.S. Department of Agriculture headquarters in Washington D.C. He joined federal and state officials, children, and others to explain the goals of this pledge.

The initiative also incorporates additional objectives included in the USDA's "Harvest to Hallways" program, aiming to enhance food choices and promote healthier eating habits for students.
