The Port of Seattle today launched a special kickoff celebration at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to mark its readiness for a summer of global soccer games.\n\nTravelers and airport employees were treated to drum and cheer performances, alongside a soccer freestyle juggler, as part of the festivities. Port staff, tenants, and partners have spent months preparing for the event, focusing on both operational readiness and creating an engaging atmosphere.\n\nPort of Seattle Commissioner Sam Cho expressed enthusiasm, saying, "The moment is finally here! We’ve been preparing Port-wide for this global celebration." He added that preparations included strategic regional partnerships and operational readiness to ensure safe passage through all facilities.\n\nThe Port aims to showcase the Pacific Northwest and drive economic opportunity from being on the world stage, reaching both visitors and locals as summer travel intensifies.
