The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has released a list of Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) performance evaluations that became public between September 1 and September 30, 2026.
Under the CRA, the OCC assesses an institution's record of meeting the credit needs of its entire community, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, consistent with the safe and sound operation of the institution. The list covers national banks, federal savings associations, and insured federal branches of foreign banks that received CRA ratings. Possible ratings are outstanding, satisfactory, needs to improve, and substantial noncompliance.
Three institutions received Outstanding ratings: First Federal Bank of Louisiana in Lake Charles, Louisiana; First National Bank at St. James in St. James, Minnesota; and MidCountry Bank in Bloomington, Minnesota.
The remaining ten institutions were rated Satisfactory: Axos Bank, San Diego, California; Constitution Bank, National Association, Hillsboro, Illinois; GN Bank, Chicago, Illinois; The Farmers and Merchants National Bank of Nashville, Nashville, Illinois; Beauregard FSB, DeRidder, Louisiana; Ameriprise Bank FSB, Minneapolis, Minnesota; First United National Bank, Fryburg, Pennsylvania; First National Bank of Fort Stockton, Fort Stockton, Texas; The First National Bank of Tom Bean, Tom Bean, Texas; and CCFBank National Association, Altoona, Wisconsin.
The OCC's website offers a searchable list of all public CRA evaluations issued since April 1996, and the agency also publishes a list of institutions due to be examined for CRA compliance.
