Five individuals, including four minors, were injured Saturday evening in a personal watercraft collision on Clear Lake, Iowa. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. near the McIntosh boat ramp in Cerro Gordo County.

Preliminary reports indicate two personal watercraft collided. One PWC carried an adult and a minor, while the second carried three minors. Witnesses and Iowa DNR Conservation Officers rescued all five passengers.

All victims were transported to MercyOne Medical Center-Mason City for treatment, with some sustaining serious injuries. The Iowa DNR is actively investigating the incident and was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office, Clear Lake Police Department, and the Clear Lake and Ventura Fire Departments. The names of those involved are being withheld pending family notification.
