NOAA and the USAF have issued a joint report indicating moderate solar activity over the past 24 hours, with four numbered sunspot regions currently visible on the solar disk. The geomagnetic field remained at quiet levels during the same period, with solar wind speed peaking at 415 km/s.

Looking ahead, solar activity is expected to be low, though there is a 45% chance for M-class flares and a 10% chance for X-class flares daily from August 25 to August 27. Protons also have a 30% chance of crossing the threshold on August 25, with probabilities decreasing to 10% on the subsequent two days.

The geomagnetic field is forecast to remain quiet on August 25 and 26, becoming quiet to active on August 27. Middle latitudes face a 30% chance of active conditions and a 15% chance of a minor storm on day three, while high latitudes have a 40% chance of a major-severe storm on the same day.
